Welcome, Fin & Finchesca!
I was laying on my bed, taking a rest from the demands of running a Cantina for birds, when I saw a new customer.
"Hi, I'll have the seed."
I used an app called Audubon, which helps you identify birds, to discover our newest little customer is a House Finch.
We shall call him Fin.
Hi Fin!
Fin was back a couple days later - this time at the Butterfly Cantina.
Stuffing his beak
Later that same day he dined at The Flower Cantina. He is enjoying the range of franchise locations we have here in the Courtyard.
Fin enjoyed the fresh premium seed and lovely atmosphere of the Cantinas so much, he brought his friends.
"Finch, party of five."
It's a full house... finch
The Cantinas soon became popular among the Finch crowd.
And one of those newcomers was a female house finch.
We shall call her Finchesca.
Hi Finchesca!
You can tell Finchesca is a female by her brown color. Male house finches like Fin sport a red attire.
"Is she spying on us?" "Yeah, I think she's spying on us."
Fin and Finchesca are now regulars at the Cantinas, and have booked nightly sunset dinner reservations with their finch friends.
