Mr. & Ms. Jack and Jill O'Lantern
Jack and Jill are quite a thrill
Two pumpkins grown from one seed
Jack grins wide and has round sides
And Jill says trick-or-treat!
I'm excited to share the results of a project that has been four months in the growing β my homegrown Jack O'Lanterns β or should I say Mr. Jack O'Lantern and Ms. Jill O'Lantern!

If you follow my blog, you know that IΒ sowed Jack O'Lantern pumpkin seedsΒ in early July with the hope of carving them for Halloween. I'm so excited that two grew and that's what I got to do!
Boo-tiful!
It was fun to think of designs and to carve them in the Courtyard on a chilly fall morning. Good old-fashioned nostalgic Halloween fun made even better by growing them myself.
And to add to the Halloween fun, I saw a bat right after I took the pictures of Jack and Jill with their candles!
